After hearing about it for so long, I finally got to try Chong Pang Nasi Lemak for the first time this week. I have to say, it’s pretty tasty and I was satisfied with the portions they served. There is a large variety of ingredients to order from as well, your usual fish, sausages, meats and vegetables.

However, after a while, I started to feel a bit ‘jerlak’ from all the oil. I found everything just a tad too greasy. Even the rice wasn’t fluffy the way I like rice to be, and every mouthful just made me more aware of the greasiness.

The sambal was alright, just a bit too sweet. Meanwhile, the chicken wings were good but I found it too heavy because it had too much flour in the batter.

The coffeeshop itself is old and greasy. Anyway, they give huge servings, and it’s great value for money, but I just feel like it’s not really worth the trip all the way there.

I’d come back if I am in the area, but I wouldn’t come back specially for this. I am staying in the East and since I’d have to drive and there is nearly no parking lots available. Even when we came late at night, my family waited in the car for me to take away because the car park was full.
